We are the alien. Perhaps everything we see — electrons, butterflies, nematodes, squirrels, trees, dogs, rocks and us are all one mind. We have a persistent illusion of separation particularly time and space fabrications. Each one of us would be like a neural pathway in our brain thinking “I am the brain” when we are just “part of” a brain, kidney, heart and oxygen. Everything is part of this one mind, single consciousness and it is this whole universe. The Big Bang wasn’t a start just a transition and the biggest next event will be when we detect mass coming toward us as another expanding universe begins a relationship with our timeless spaceless whole, two wholes entering a more holy whole.
