We are all nomads, at 68 years old I’m fortunate to be in great health and physical condition and doing work I love — ranching and property development. For 41 years I worked in tech and lived the exciting digital changes and traveled the world. In the second 1/2 of life there has been an ever growing and deepening realization we are all “just passing through”. Everyone of the suggestions in this post is applicable to this larger metaphysical journey and I’ll add a response onto the materialistic economy suggested — travel light, travel happy. My goal is to get down to a pair of jeans, a few changes of socks/underwear/tee shirts, this tablet with its music and ideas and the last 6 years of IRS returns.

Also the Christmas cards I have from the son who died. They will be easy for someone to trash and I need them sometimes.
