This essay makes the case for a much more expansive field of possibilities for the sub-category of “UFO” or “extraterrestrial” and in so doing raises bigger questions about how to question our perceived reality and how we explore this frontier and any insights about this experience we call “life”. We so quickly take a side, cast aspersions, become defensive, ridicule, hyperbolize and so on. “Science” folks (and I am one) can become dogmatic about even discussion (I am thankful for Lex Friedman podcasts where he works to not react and not agree or disagree but simply explore with listening). I would propose this essay makes the case not just about the subject but also a case for changing our consciousness.
