The only path to non-extinction is to evolve to a new level of consciousness that sees everything as connected with associated respect, concern, kindness, tolerance and compassion. Putin has not captured any of that, if he does acquire apparent short term materialistic or egotistic power gains such a “win” will be an incredibly pyrrhic, devastatingly tragic, miserably ending narrative of the once promising human species.
