Nicholas Tesla, if his self reflections are to be believed and they seem truthful to me, did not “invent” the AC turbine the way we generally stereotype the perspiration workshop at the bench (example Edison labs). According to him, as best I can follow, visions would with effort and concentration be pulled together in his mind that, to me, sounds like an altered state. Anyway, to the point, he sorta envisioned our world complete with Internet and smart phones. One of his (Tesla’s) most persistent convictions was wireless power transmission.

Imagine electric vehicles and airplanes recharged “over the air”. All technology sufficiently advanced appears to be magic.
