Let’s say, just for “what if” speculation, we are a simulation. If just on the chance that were true it’s interesting the simulation (from whatever source by whatever means) fabricates for us our apparent situation as rare. In the spirit of AI that would make sense, the more data it has to work from (our investigation) the more finesse and layered it would become. Unlike the movie “The Matrix” a good simulation would become self-improving as it was probed.
