I live in an exurb of Dallas — Ft. worth, 60 miles from DFW airport. I live on an 80 acre ranch 10 minutes outside a town of 16,000 people. The best internet I can get is $80 a month terrestrial radio with about 10mbps download, 500kb upload. For the real rural Texas it gets much worse in a hurry, huge chunks of Texas are without even cellular. I am signed up to get Starlink in August (tentatively). I’ve already paid in advance. Does anybody really understand the rural blight in the United States?
