I keep thinking about your question. Evolutionary theory seems sound. To what or whom do we attribute adaptation? If I could meet and talk with one person I want to talk to the first human that thought they had consciousness, the first human that was a aware of being aware. I would like to know who, where, what were they doing and why and exactly when the thought came.
