I jumped to Linux on my 3 year old laptop and have been delighted. I can still alternately boot Windows, the data is still there (anyway it was last week) but now I do everything I was doing now using Linux has way better interface and performance. Who knows what vulnerabilities and pitfalls I may have created for myself but for now I’m happy and don’t know any better.
