I don’t think of Asia women as exotic, the term never occurred to me (I have a rich vocabulary). Diverse has occurred to me, the likelihood that cultural, psychological, sociological and experiential background has generated a different lens of interpretation, filter, values and priorities. The few Asia women I have actually conversed with have brought an abundance of interesting and beneficial ways of thinking, different ways of seeing “reality”. I wonder if being partly interested in another person motivated by learning and hearing their alternate interpretations is exploitation, objectification.
