I believe local farm to table helps. I have stopped sending my calves into “the system”. I graze the ranch the way the Buffalo did, migrating and rotating pastures. No chemicals only grass. I’ll slaughter and sell my beef and tan my own hides at a loss to stay natural and humane. We don’t need that much beef, it should be more of a condiment or not at all. Cows are intelligent animals and deserve us to live up to our end of honoring and caring for them.
