I am not sure what my own consciousness is, the thing, for me, that I found entertaining and interesting in this essay was to juxtaposition my uncertainty about my own consciousness with uncertainties hypothetical or primitively evidenced with machine augmented or AI uncertainties. The permutations felt a little overwhelming to me, like viewing the new images from JWST.
