Ha! I really like it when someone makes a specific hypothesis and organizes and documents their logic for the position. It sure generated a lot of responses, some fairly passionate. A great thing about specific predictions is we get to see what happens and compare to the original thesis — I would have liked a timeline (such as the new paradigms of housing/real estate values will hold, circumstances unchanged, for at least X years) so we would know that aspect of observational testing.
