As a Texan who lives with and is in close relationship with quite a number of Latinos I wholeheartedly agree and clap 3 times for this article. The Democrats are fussing about whether or not the farther “left” side of the party hurt or hindered the close victory by Biden. I say neither. To the Latinos I know it is not about conceptual ideologies and theoretical philosophies. The ones in my life care about actions and what a representative did, accomplished and pragmatically communicated. Family, jobs, education, ground game, listening and pragmatic tangible results matter. Being at the table and at fiesta and communicating the truth and meaning in daily life matters.

I passionately believe what I perceive in my Latino family is a keystone of insight in what Democrats need to be working on now for 2020 across the whole voting public — not a “center vs. left” paradigm.
